SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with regret of the death of Barbara A. "Ms. Tax" Brace (nee McKenzie) on Saturday, April 24, 2004; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Barbara A. Brace has been deeply felt by many, especially her children, Lawrence, Karen, and Kevin Brace; her husband, Regis L. Brace; and her siblings, Patricia (Albert) Ebner and Robert McKenzie; she was a devoted aunt, great-aunt, and friend to many; her grandchild, Nichole, preceded her in death; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Barbara A. "Ms. Tax" Brace, and we extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Barbara A. Brace as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
