SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois were saddened to learn of the passing of Charles R. Feller; and

WHEREAS, Charles R. Feller, the son of Charles N. and Molly Feller, was born on January 14, 1927, in Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Charles R. Feller graduated from St. Patrick's Academy in Chicago and then attended DePaul University, where he played basketball and was a boxer; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Feller, a veteran of World War II, was a Chicago firefighter for 38 years; and

WHEREAS, He was a 55-year member of the YMCA, and was loyal to his church, the senior center, the YMCA, the firemen, and his family; and

WHEREAS, Charles R. Feller's passing was deeply felt by many, especially his loving wife, Mary Rose (Campagna); his sons and daughter-in-law, Charles M. (Beatriz) and David M.; his granddaughter, Molly Delia; and his many cousins, nieces, and nephews; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Feller was preceded in death by his parents, Charles N. and Molly Feller; and his brothers, James and Gerald; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of Charles R. Feller along with all who knew and loved him and extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Charles R. Feller as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
