SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with regret of the death of Martha Burgo of North Aurora on Wednesday, June 16, 2004; and

WHEREAS, Martha Salvaro was born on August 26, 1919, in Chicago to Angelo and Rose (Guttilla) Burgo; she was the loving wife of Paul and was devoted to her family and their activities; Mr. Burgo preceded her in death; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Martha Burgo has been deeply felt by many, especially her children, Rosemary (Carl) Pallasch, Paul, Larry (Kathy), and David; her grandchildren, Lawrence Burgo, Sean Baker, Dominic (Sara) Burgo, and Anthony Burgo; her sister, Anna (the late Vincent) Salerno; her sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, Lucille Hickey, Russell Giarratono, and Louis (Eloise) Burgo; she was also preceded in death by her brother Vito (Christine) Salvaro and her parents; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Martha Burgo, and we extend our deepest sympathy to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Martha Burgo as an expression of our sincere condolences.
