SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, We have learned with sadness that Jane-Anne Monaco of Waukegan, Illinois, passed away on August 11, 2004; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Monaco was born in Urbana, Illinois on February 20, 1951, the daughter of Frank and Vivian Fromme; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Monaco worked at the Chicago Tribune, in the advertising business, and as a secretary for a Chicago law firm; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Monaco was a member of the First United Methodist Church; she devoted the last years of her life to raising her son; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Monaco is survived by her son, Monte Monaco, her brother, Barrie Fromme, and her niece, Ellyn Fromme; she was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Vivian Fromme; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we express our deep sorrow at the passing of Ms. Jane-Anne Monaco, and that we offer our heartfelt sympathy to her friends and family; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Jane-Anne Monaco.
