SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
3 learned with sadness of the death of Timothy J. Kinnally of
4 Aurora on September 4, 2004; and
 
5     WHEREAS, He was born December 4, 1915 in Syracuse, New
6 York; and
 
7     WHEREAS, He earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees
8 from Syracuse; he served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 until 1946;
9 he married his wife, Jean Waegner, at Our Lady of Good Counsel
10 Church on May 22, 1943, and they moved to Aurora in 1946; and
 
11     WHEREAS, He was co-owner of Waegner's Shoe Store for 15
12 years, then he worked for the Illinois Department of
13 Transportation as a budget officer for approximately 20 years,
14 until he retired in the early 1980's; he was a lifetime member
15 of Holy Angels Church; and
 
16     WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents, Kathryn
17 (O'Brien) and John Kinnally; and
 
18     WHEREAS, The passing of Timothy J. Kinnally will be felt by
19 all who knew and loved him, especially his wife, Jean (Waegner)
20 Kinnally; his children, Theresa (John) Gaudio, Kathleen (Bob)
21 Glenney, Patrick (Sally) Kinnally, Nancy (Ruben) Reyes,
22 Timothy (Cindy) Kinnally, and Nora (Eli) Clarke; his
23 grandchildren, Dan Gaudio, Mark (Marcie) Gaudio, and Anthony
24 Gaudio, Kate (Jason) Wyatt, Maggie Glenney, Colleen Glenney,
25 Moira (Matthew) Moran, Rorry Kinnally, Cara Kinnally, and Calan
26 Kinnally, Andrea (Josh) West, Andy Kinnally, Sharon (Joseph)
27 Baker, Eric Kinnally and Gia Clarke; and his
28 great-grandchildren, McKenzie Goodspeek and Lucia Moran;
29 therefore, be it

1     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL
2 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3 Timothy J. Kinnally and extend our sincerest condolences to his
4 family, friends, and community; and be it further
 
5     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6 presented to the family of Timothy J. Kinnally as an expression
7 of our deepest sympathy.
