| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 | | Representatives wish to commend William "Bill" Grear for his | 4 | | 13 years of service as a trustee of the Village of Morton | 5 | | Grove; and
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Bill Grear was born and raised in Morton Grove | 7 | | along with his nine siblings, attending St. Martha Elementary | 8 | | School and Notre Dame High School; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Bill Grear and his wife, Janice, raised their | 10 | | three children in Morton Grove; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Bill Grear was first elected as a trustee of | 12 | | Morton Grove in 2009, taking an active approach while | 13 | | dedicating himself to his mission of making life better for | 14 | | residents, businesses, and employees of Morton Grove; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Bill Grear has been a leading volunteer for | 16 | | countless fundraisers and community events; he has also been a | 17 | | key leader in organizing and running the Village's annual | 18 | | Morton Grove Days Festival, and he was recently appointed as | 19 | | president of the Morton Grove Days Commission; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Bill Grear has also served as trustee liaison to |

| 1 | | the Morton Grove Fire Department, the Police Department, the | 2 | | RED Center, Public Works, the Finance Department, and the | 3 | | Building Department; and
| 4 | | WHEREAS, Bill Grear's commitment to serving his community | 5 | | has been an immeasurable asset to the Village of Morton Grove; | 6 | | therefore, be it
| 7 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | 8 | | HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | 9 | | we commend William "Bill" Grear for his hard work, dedication, | 10 | | and service as a trustee of the Village of Morton Grove; and be | 11 | | it further
| 12 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 13 | | presented to Bill Grear as an expression of our esteem and | 14 | | respect.
