AN ACT concerning public aid.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by changing Section 12-13.05 as follows:

(305 ILCS 5/12-13.05)

Sec. 12-13.05. Rules for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families. All rules regulating the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program and all other rules regulating the amendatory changes to this Code made by this amendatory Act of 1997 shall be promulgated pursuant to this Section. All rules regulating the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program and all other rules regulating the amendatory changes to this Code made by this amendatory Act of 1997 are repealed on July 1 2006. On and after July 1, 2006, the Illinois Department may not promulgate any rules regulating the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program or regulating the amendatory changes to this Code made by this amendatory Act of 1997.
