| HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, James Eschenbauch is retiring as President of the |
| 3 |
| Village of Wauconda; and
|
| 4 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Eschenbauch has been President since 1993 and |
| 5 |
| was a Village Trustee for 10 years prior to that time; he has |
| 6 |
| also been a Precinct Committeemen for 16 years and was |
| 7 |
| Republican Township Chairman for four
years; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, As Village President, he implemented a |
| 9 |
| comprehensive plan for the Village that finally gave the |
| 10 |
| community a master plan for growth; he worked on flooding and |
| 11 |
| sewer problems throughout the Village, brought the idea of a |
| 12 |
| senior housing facility to the Wauconda area, negotiated a |
| 13 |
| garbage contract with six surrounding communities which |
| 14 |
| resulted in a savings for the homeowners of the communities, |
| 15 |
| and started the Bangs Lake Management Committee and a tree |
| 16 |
| replacement program; and
|
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, He served in the United States Army from 1967 to |
| 18 |
| 1970, including a tour of duty in Vietnam, and he is a life |
| 19 |
| member of VFW Post 9438; he and his wife, Judy, have been |
| 20 |
| married for 33 years and they recently built a new home in |
| 21 |
| Wauconda and will continue to be a part of the community for |
| 22 |
| many years; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 24 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE |
| 25 |
| SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that we thank James Eschenbauch for |
| 26 |
| his many years of outstanding public service and wish him all |
| 27 |
| the best in his retirement; and be it further
|
| 28 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 29 |
| presented to Village President James Eschenbauch as an |
| 30 |
| expression of our esteem.
