HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The Mater Dei High School Lady Knights recently finished their first season as an IHSA Class AA school with a record of 23 wins and seven losses; and

WHEREAS, The Lady Knights' season came to a close in the Belleville East Sectional championship game against Althoff; and

WHEREAS, The team had a great season, including a second place finish at the Highland Tournament, while only having two seniors on their roster, Amanda Rickhoff and Megan Dooley; and

WHEREAS, The Lady Knights are led by head coach Dave Kohnen; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the Mater Dei High School Lady Knights on an excellent basketball season; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to each of the members and coaches of the Lady Knights as an expression of our esteem.
