| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives learned with sadness of the passing of Caleb M. |
| 4 |
| Bridges of Springfield on March 29, 2006; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Caleb Michael Bridges was born on August 20, 1984, |
| 6 |
| in Springfield to Mark and Sandy Humphrey Bridges; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Bridges graduated from Springfield High |
| 8 |
| School and Lincoln Land Community College; he was enrolled to |
| 9 |
| study law enforcement at Western Illinois University and had |
| 10 |
| been accepted as a cadet by the Springfield Police Department; |
| 11 |
| and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Bridges was an avid outdoorsman who loved |
| 13 |
| hunting, fishing, and camping and was a member of West Side |
| 14 |
| Christian Church; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Caleb Bridges will be deeply felt |
| 16 |
| by many who knew and loved him, especially his parents, Mark |
| 17 |
| and Sandy Bridges; his sister, Anna Bridges; his brother, Joe |
| 18 |
| Joe Bridges; his grandparents, James and Mary Ann Brammer and |
| 19 |
| Harry and Barb Humphrey; his great-grandmother, Lillie Kunz; |
| 20 |
| his several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his fiancée, Morgan |
| 21 |
| VanMeter; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 23 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 24 |
| we mourn the passing of Caleb Michael Bridges, and we extend |
| 25 |
| our deepest sympathy to his family, friends, and all who knew |
| 26 |
| and loved him; and be it further
|
| 27 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 28 |
| presented to his family as an expression of our sincerest |
| 29 |
| condolences.
