HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the
3 State of Illinois were deeply saddened to learn of the death of
4 Ricardo L. Tate of Chicago; and
 
5     WHEREAS, He was born September 24, 1952 in Chicago, and
6 attended grammar and high school on the south side of Chicago;
7 and
 
8     WHEREAS, He graduated from Harvard College in 1974 with an
9 A.B. degree in economics; he received a J.D. degree from the
10 University of Chicago in 1980 and was admitted to the practice
11 of law in Illinois in 1980; and
 
12     WHEREAS, He served as an administrative law judge for the
13 State of Illinois Human Rights Commission since 1996; prior to
14 that, he was a staff/supervisory attorney for the Legal
15 Assistance Foundation of Chicago; and
 
16     WHEREAS, He was affiliated with the Federal Trial Bar,
17 Northern District of Illinois; Illinois Judicial Council;
18 American Bar Association; and the Cook County Bar Association;
19 and
 
20     WHEREAS, The passing of Ricardo L. Tate will be felt by all
21 who knew and loved him; therefore, be it
 
22     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
23 NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
24 we mourn the passing of Ricardo L. Tate and we extend to his
25 family and friends our thoughts and prayers during this
26 difficult time; and be it further
 
27     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
28 presented to his family as an expression of our deepest
