| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives congratulate Joan and Earl Sanders on the |
| 4 |
| occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, A celebration will be held at the Idlewild Country |
| 6 |
| Club in Flossmoor on April 23, 2005; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Marriage is a sacred bond of love, trust, mutual |
| 8 |
| respect, and partnership; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Sanders entered into the bonds of |
| 10 |
| holy matrimony on April 24, 1955 at the Cosmopolitan Community |
| 11 |
| Church in Chicago; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, They have lived in Chicago all their lives; Joan |
| 13 |
| is a retired school teacher who taught at Mollison Elementary |
| 14 |
| School and Earl is a retired principal of Powell Elementary |
| 15 |
| School; and
|
| 16 |
| WHEREAS, They consider their greatest accomplishments to |
| 17 |
| be their children; they are the loving parents of Holly and Jan |
| 18 |
| and the proud grandparents of Kelly, Colin, Aaron, Cheyney, and |
| 19 |
| Quinlan; and
|
| 20 |
| WHEREAS, Joan and Earl Sanders have experienced fifty years |
| 21 |
| filled with love, perpetual friendship, confidence, and |
| 22 |
| integrity; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 24 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |

| we are proud and honored to congratulate Joan and Earl Sanders |
| 26 |
| upon the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary on April |

| 24, 2005, and wish them many more years of wedded bliss and |
