| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, Stephen J. Tasch is completing his last term as |
| 3 |
| Village President of Fox River Grove; and
|
| 4 |
| WHEREAS, The Village of Fox River Grove is located 40 miles |
| 5 |
| northwest of Chicago at the crossroads of McHenry, Cook, Lake, |
| 6 |
| and Kane counties in northeastern Illinois; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Tasch has been involved with the Village for |
| 8 |
| the past 15 years; he served on the Plan Commission from 1990 |
| 9 |
| to 1993, as Village Trustee from 1993 to 1997, and two terms as |
| 10 |
| Village President from 1997 to 2005; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, He is an attorney by profession, a member of the |
| 12 |
| Fox River Grove Lions Club, and has coached many of the |
| 13 |
| children's sports teams in Cary and Fox River Grove; he has |
| 14 |
| also been involved with the Northwest Municipal Conference, the |
| 15 |
| McHenry County Economic Development Council, and the McHenry |
| 16 |
| County Council of Governments; and
|
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Tasch and his wife, Tina, have three sons and |
| 18 |
| a daughter; and
|
| 19 |
| WHEREAS, His involvement with the Village has earned him |
| 20 |
| respect and admiration, and the Village residents are grateful |
| 21 |
| for his service to the community; therefore, be it
|
| 22 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 23 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 24 |
| we thank Stephen J. Tasch for his many years of service to the |
| 25 |
| Village of Fox River Grove; and be it further
|
| 26 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 27 |
| presented to Village President Stephen J. Tasch as an |
| 28 |
| expression of our respect and esteem.
