HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The congregation of St. John's Lutheran Church in Hartsburg recently celebrated the church's 120th anniversary; and

WHEREAS, The Rev. Harold Grafe, a former church pastor, preached at the special morning service; the Rev. David Russel is St. John's minister; and

WHEREAS, A potluck meal was served at the church following the worship service; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the congregation of St. John's Lutheran Church on the happy occasion of the church's 120th anniversary; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to St. John's Lutheran Church as an expression of our respect and esteem.
