HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Patricia Langenstrass retired from her position as a trustee for Hanover Township on May 23, 2005; and

WHEREAS, As a trustee, Mrs. Langenstrass served on the mental health board and senior committee; she also led the successful referendum to build the senior center; and

WHEREAS, She previously served 8 years as a village trustee in Streamwood; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. Langenstrass is a co-founder of the Women's Organization of Republicans in Hanover Township; and

WHEREAS, She and her husband, Gerald, have lived in Streamwood for 20 years and have two children; and

WHEREAS, She has been civically active for more than 15 years and the citizens of Hanover Township are grateful for her service to the community; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Patricia Langenstrass for her many years of exceptional service to Hanover Township and wish her all the best in her retirement and future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Patricia Langenstrass as an expression of our admiration and esteem.
