HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Randy and Denise Pingsterhaus and family were honored as the Clinton County Farm Family of the Year on February 14, 2006, at the 59th annual meeting of the Clinton County Soil and Water Conservation District ; and

WHEREAS, The Pingsterhaus Dairy Farm is located southwest of Breese; Mr. and Mrs. Pingsterhaus are the fourth generation of Pingsterhauses to continue in the operation of the dairy farm; it has continued to be a self-sufficient dairy for 133 years; and

WHEREAS, The Pingsterhaus family operates a 200-head Holstein herd that consists of 90 to 100 milkers; the farm consists of 223 acres located on 3 tracts in Breese, Sugar Creek, and Looking Glass townships; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the Pingsterhaus family on being named the Clinton County Farm Family of the Year; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Pingsterhaus family as an expression of our respect and esteem.
