SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

New Act

Creates the State Expenditure Limitation Act. Provides that increases in State expenditures shall be limited to the percent growth of the Gross Domestic Product attributable to Illinois.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the State Expenditure Limitation Act.

Section 2. Limitation. Increases in State expenditures shall be limited to the percent growth of the Gross Domestic Product attributable to Illinois.
