SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 
5 ILCS 430/20-85

    Amends the State Officials and Employees Ethics Act. Requires that each Executive Inspector General include the following in his or her quarterly report to the Executive Ethics Commission and the appropriate executive branch constitutional officer: instances since the last report date of non-compliance with personnel policies, ethics training, and restrictions on the use of an executive branch constitutional officer's name or image in public service announcements and on promotional materials.

1     AN ACT concerning government.
 
2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
 
4     Section 5. The State Officials and Employees Ethics Act is
5 amended by changing Section 20-85 as follows:
 
6     (5 ILCS 430/20-85)
7     Sec. 20-85. Quarterly reports by Executive Inspector
8 General. Each Executive Inspector General shall submit
9 quarterly reports to the appropriate executive branch
10 constitutional officer and the Executive Ethics Commission, on
11 dates determined by the Executive Ethics Commission,
12 indicating:
13         (1) the number of allegations received since the date
14     of the last report;
15         (2) the number of investigations initiated since the
16     date of the last report;
17         (3) the number of investigations concluded since the
18     date of the last report;
19         (4) the number of investigations pending as of the
20     reporting date;
21         (5) the number of complaints forwarded to the Attorney
22     General since the date of the last report; and
23         (6) the number of actions filed with the Executive
24     Ethics Commission since the date of the last report and the
25     number of actions pending before the Executive Ethics
26     Commission as of the reporting date; .
27         (7) any instances since the last report date of
28     non-compliance with the personnel policies adopted and
29     implemented under Section 5-5;
30         (8) any instances since the last report date of
31     non-compliance with the ethics training requirements
32     established in Section 5-10; and

1         (9) any instances since the last report date of
2     non-compliance with the restrictions established in
3     Section 5-20 on public service announcements and
4     promotional materials.
