SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
3 learned with sadness of the death of David Roland "Wolfe"
4 Nystrom of Waukegan on December 3, 2004; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Mr. Nystrom was born March 8, 1958, in Waukegan,
6 the son of Lorraine and Roland "Salty" Nystrom; and
 
7     WHEREAS, He married Valorie MacGruder on September 3, 1988,
8 in Waukegan; and
 
9     WHEREAS, A lifelong resident of Waukegan, he was employed
10 for 19 years at the Lake County Sheriff's Department and for
11 the past several years was a sergeant; and
 
12     WHEREAS, He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police
13 and the Moose Lodge 667; and
 
14     WHEREAS, He was an avid golfer, a fierce Bears fan, a proud
15 stockholder of Captain Morgan, and a faithful friend and a
16 loyal advisor to many; and
 
17     WHEREAS, David Nystrom was the loving husband of Valorie;
18 the devoted father of Derek and Devin; the loving brother of
19 Bonnie (Frank) Long; the dear brother-in-law of Greg (Cindy
20 Davis) Ramsey, Jeff (Trina) Ramsey, and Robert MacGruder Jr.;
21 the dear son-in-law of Robert (Lea) MacGruder; the fond uncle
22 of several nieces and nephews, including Niki and Justin
23 Paglusch and Josh Ramsey; and the special nephew to Betty
24 Berggren; he was also survived by his special friends, Kenny
25 (Cookie) Bain, Tom Paglusch, and Sue Nordmark, the Meadow Court
26 Neighborhood Association, and many other family and friends too
27 numerous to name; therefore, be it
 
28     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL

1 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
2 David Roland "Wolfe" Nystrom and extend our sincerest
3 condolences to his family, friends, and community; and be it
4 further
 
5     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6 presented to his family as an expression of our deepest
7 sympathy.
