SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with regret of the death of Robert "Bob" Webb of Christopher on Thursday, July 7, 2005; and

WHEREAS, He was born on May 13, 1922, in Christopher to Ernest Webb and Lillian (Ryan) Webb; he married Winfred (Hargis) Webb; she preceded him in death; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Webb was retired from Fish and Wildlife at Crab Orchard; he was a member of Benton Masonic Lodge and Sesser American Legion; he was also a veteran of Iwo Jima; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Robert "Bob" Webb has been deeply felt by many, especially his son, Stan Hess; his daughters, Diana Broy and Pamela Napier; his six grandchildren; and his twelve great-grandchildren; he was also preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Mae Nash; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Robert "Bob" Webb, and we extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to his family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
