SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with sadness of the death of Terry Sardin, Sr., of Chicago on July 3, 2004; and

WHEREAS, He was born June 3, 1957 in Chicago to the union of Joseph and Millicent Sardin; he attended True Holiness Pentecostal Church; and

WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Terry Sardin, Sr., is felt by all who knew him, especially his loving and devoted wife, Lisa; his children, Crystal (Michael) Johnson, Terra, Marlow, Nikkia, Shanice, and Terry, Jr.; his grandchildren; his siblings, Joseph, Tommie (Janet), Rodney (Angela), Earl (DeAdra), and Linda; his step-siblings, Andrea (Vernell), Andra (Pamela), Everette, Crystal, and Charlie; his special stepsons, Randy and Jr.; Walter Guy, Sr. (Nettie), his mother-in-law, Christine Guy; his sisters-in-law; his brothers-in-law; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family, and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Terry Sardin, Sr., and we extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and community; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to his family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
