SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with sadness of the death of Nicole Maureen Duncan of North Chicago, on January 16, 2006; and

WHEREAS, Nicole Maureen Duncan was born on March 31, 1972, in Waukegan, Illinois, to Charles Duncan, Jr. and Mary Duncan; and

WHEREAS, Nicole Maureen Duncan was a graduate of North Chicago High School in North Chicago, Illinois; and

WHEREAS, Nicole Maureen Duncan was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Joseph Garrett; her paternal grandfather, Charles Duncan, Sr.; and four uncles and one aunt; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Nicole Maureen Duncan is felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her daughter, Naudia Alexis Duncan; her parents, Charles Duncan, Jr., and Mary Duncan; her three brothers, Bryant Duncan, Charles Duncan III, and Parrish Duncan; her four sisters, Tiffiny Duncan, Desiree (Jerry) Creer, Jemena Duncan, and Tempestt Duncan; her maternal grandmother, Catherine Garrett; her paternal grandmother, Louise Duncan; her very dear aunt, Teresa Neal; her six nephews and eight nieces; and her numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Nicole Maureen Duncan and we extend our sincerest condolences to her family and friends; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to her family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
