SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with regret of the death of Randall "Bear" Clark Jr. of North Chicago on Friday, January 13, 2006; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Clark was a United States Army veteran; he was a civil service retiree of Fort Sheridan Army Base; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Clark married Billie Jean (Warren) Clark; they were married for forty-nine years; and

WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his mother and his father, Randall "Johnnie" Clark Sr.; his infant son, Roderick Nathan Clark; and a special aunt and uncle; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Randall "Bear" Clark Jr. has been deeply felt by many, especially his wife; his three children, Derrick (Debora) Clark, Robin; and Randall III (Sylvia); his ten grandchildren; his three great-grandchildren; his brother-in-law; his sister-in-law; his mother-in-law; his goddaughter; and many other relatives and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Randall "Bear" Clark Jr., and we extend our sincerest condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to his family as an expression of our deepest sympathy for their loss.
