SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with regret of the death of Angela Renae King of Royalton on February 2, 2006; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. King was born April 21, 1968, in Pittsfield, to Jerald L. and Georgia (Lee) Daugherty; she married Wally King November 4, 1992 in Zeigler; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. King was of the Baptist faith; she worked at Maytag in Herrin; she was an avid motorcycle rider; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. King will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends; and

WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Angela Renae King has been deeply felt by many, especially her husband; her sons, Corey and Garrett King; her daughter, Kacey King; her mother, Georgia Daugherty; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Kevin and Scarlett Daugherty and Brian and Patty Daugherty; her sister and brother-in-law, Gerri and Tim Summers; her nieces and nephews, Mackenzie, McCaine, and Dalton Daugherty, Brianna and Brandon Patrick, and Jamie Hargraves; and her dear friend, Lori Denison; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Angela Renae King, and we extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to her family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
