SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with sadness of the death of Stella M. (DiCiaula) Terranova of Schaumburg on Thursday, July 20, 2006; and

WHEREAS, She was born on January 19, 1923, in Chicago; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Stella M. Terranova has been deeply felt by many; she was the wife of the late Peter J.; mother of Thomas (Carol) Terranova and Rocco (Sue) Terranova; grandmother of Peter (Cookie) Terranova, Anthony (fiancée, Janet) Terranova, Joe, Michael and Deana; great-grandmother of Mia and Mira; sister of Anna Zacca, the late Theresa (Nick) Piccolo and the late Dorothy (Frank) Pilloli; and sister-in-law of Tony (Ann) Terranova, Antoinette De Falco and the late Joseph, Sam, Mary, Rose, Josephine and Phyllis; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Stella M. Terranova, and we extend our deepest sympathy to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to her family as an expression of our sincerest condolences.
