| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Kenneth Morris "Kenny" Davidson of | 4 | | Urbana, who passed away on June 4, 2019; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Kenny Davidson was born in Memphis, Tennessee to | 6 | | Kenneth P. and Vietta (Johnson) Davidson on January 5, 1936; he | 7 | | attended school in Decker, Indiana; after graduating from high | 8 | | school, he enlisted in the United States Navy; he married | 9 | | Marlene Current in Vincennes, Indiana on April 4, 1958; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Kenny Davidson started working for the Eisner | 11 | | Corporation after he was honorably discharged from the United | 12 | | States Navy; after he relocated to Chicago, he started his | 13 | | career at the University of Illinois and retired after 15 years | 14 | | of service; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Kenny Davidson was a member of the Mattis Avenue | 16 | | Free Methodist Church and the American Legion Post #1492; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Kenny Davidson was preceded in death by his | 18 | | parents and his grandson, Andrew Haines; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Kenny Davidson is survived by his wife, Marlene; | 20 | | his children, Cassie (Randy) Haines and Kendra (Chris) |

| 5 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | 6 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 7 | | Kenneth Morris "Kenny" Davidson and extend our sincere | 8 | | condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved | 9 | | him; and be it further
