HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Donald
4P. Boring, who passed away on March 19, 2023 at the age of 73;
5and
 
6    WHEREAS, Donald Boring was born to Jack and Margaret
7(Larsen) Boring in Chicago on December 1, 1949, later moving
8to Antioch, where he was raised; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Donald Boring served in the U.S. Army during the
10Vietnam War; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Donald Boring worked as a Union Local #2 Elevator
12Constructor for over 30 years; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Donald Boring married and had two sons, Bryan and
14Trevor Boring; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Donald Boring loved fishing; he owned and
16operated Hi-Jack Walleye Harness, Blades, and Skirts for many
17years; he also enjoyed hunting, riding his Harley Davidson,
18and especially being with his family and friends; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Donald Boring is survived by his two sons, Bryan

1and Trevor Boring; his grandson, Oliver Boring; his
2step-great-grandchildren, Charlie and Sophia; his sister,
3Debbie Doyle; his nieces, Jackie, Jody, and Julie; his best
4friends, David Burba and Allen VanAllen; as well as many other
5relatives and friends; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
7HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
8we mourn the passing of Donald P. Boring and extend our sincere
9condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved
10him; and be it further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Donald Boring as an expression of
13our deepest sympathy.
