HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Donald P. Boring, who passed away on March 19, 2023 at the age of 73; and

WHEREAS, Donald Boring was born to Jack and Margaret (Larsen) Boring in Chicago on December 1, 1949, later moving to Antioch, where he was raised; and

WHEREAS, Donald Boring served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War; and

WHEREAS, Donald Boring worked as a Union Local #2 Elevator Constructor for over 30 years; and

WHEREAS, Donald Boring married and had two sons, Bryan and Trevor Boring; and

WHEREAS, Donald Boring loved fishing; he owned and operated Hi-Jack Walleye Harness, Blades, and Skirts for many years; he also enjoyed hunting, riding his Harley Davidson, and especially being with his family and friends; and

WHEREAS, Donald Boring is survived by his two sons, Bryan and Trevor Boring; his grandson, Oliver Boring; his step-great-grandchildren, Charlie and Sophia; his sister, Debbie Doyle; his nieces, Jackie, Jody, and Julie; his best friends, David Burba and Allen VanAllen; as well as many other relatives and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Donald P. Boring and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Donald Boring as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
