HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Gayle
4Anne Thielke of Antioch, who passed away on April 25, 2023; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Gayle Anne Thielke was born to Frank and Eleanor
6(Connelly) Fuss in Chicago on January 29, 1942; she was raised
7in the Antioch area, where she was an active member of the
8community; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Gayle Thielke volunteered her time generously to
10the community; she loved quilting and was an active
11participant in her quilting club, and she was also an active
12parishioner at the St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church
13in Antioch; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Gayle Thielke was preceded in death by her
15parents and her second husband, Harry Thielke; and
 
16    WHEREAS, At the time of her passing, Gayle Thielke was
17survived by her sons, Thomas and Christopher; her
18granddaughters, Amanda and Savannah; her first husband,
19Richard Payonk; her sister, Pat (Jim) Massie; and extended
20family and friends; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
2HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
3we mourn the passing of Gayle Anne Thielke and extend our
4sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew
5and loved her; and be it further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Gayle Thielke as an expression of
8our deepest sympathy.
