SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 
New Act

    Creates the State-mandated Health Insurance Exemption Act. Provides that any person who presents a certificate of credible coverage to an administrator of any state-mandated health insurance coverage plan naming the persons who have credible coverage are exempt from the state-mandated health insurance coverage plan.

1     AN ACT concerning insurance.
 
2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
 
4     Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the
5 State-mandated Health Insurance Exemption Act.
 
6     Section 5. State-mandated health insurance exemption. Any
7 person who presents a certificate of credible coverage to an
8 administrator of any state-mandated health insurance coverage
9 plan naming the persons who have credible coverage are exempt
10 from the state-mandated health insurance coverage plan.
