AN ACT concerning State employees.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the State Travel Expense Reimbursement Act.

Section 5. Travel expense reimbursement. No State funds shall be used to pay or reimburse, and no State-compensated time shall be used by, a person elected to, appointed to, acting on behalf of the State in, or employed full time, part time, temporarily, or on a contractual basis in a position in the executive branch of State government for travel to or from that person's State work location in the State capital.
