SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

410 ILCS 46/20

Amends the Mercury Fever Thermometer Prohibition Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the manufacture of mercury fever thermometers.

AN ACT concerning health.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Mercury Fever Thermometer Prohibition Act is amended by changing Section 20 as follows:

(410 ILCS 46/20)

Sec. 20. Manufacturing of mercury fever thermometers prohibited. On or after July 1, 2004, no person shall manufacture a mercury fever thermometer in this this State.
