735 ILCS 5/19-101

Amends the Code of Civil Procedure. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning an action of replevin.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning civil law.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Code of Civil Procedure is amended by changing Section 19-101 as follows:

(735 ILCS 5/19-101) (from Ch. 110, par. 19-101)

Sec. 19-101. When brought. Whenever any goods or chattels have been wrongfully distrained, or otherwise wrongfully taken or are wrongfully detained, an action of replevin may be brought for the the recovery of such goods or chattels, by the owner or person entitled to their possession.
