735 ILCS 5/19-101   from Ch. 110, par. 19-101

    Amends the Code of Civil Procedure. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning an action of replevin.

1     AN ACT concerning civil law.
 
2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
 
4     Section 5. The Code of Civil Procedure is amended by
5 changing Section 19-101 as follows:
 
6     (735 ILCS 5/19-101)  (from Ch. 110, par. 19-101)
7     Sec. 19-101. When brought. Whenever any goods or chattels
8 have been wrongfully distrained, or otherwise wrongfully taken
9 or are wrongfully detained, an action of replevin may be
10 brought for the the recovery of such goods or chattels, by the
11 owner or person entitled to their possession.
