SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

230 ILCS 5/34.2 new
230 ILCS 10/13.2 new

Amends the Illinois Horse Racing Act of 1975 and the Riverboat Gambling Act. Requires each automated teller machine located within a facility operated by an organization licensee and inter-track wagering location licensee or on a riverboat or the home dock of the riverboat operated by an owners licensee to allow a patron to deposit moneys into his or her bank account. Effective immediately.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning gaming.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Horse Racing Act of 1975 is amended by adding Section 34.2 as follows:

(230 ILCS 5/34.2 new)

Sec. 34.2. Automated teller machines. Each automated teller machine, as defined in the Automated Teller Machine Security Act, located within a facility operated by an organization licensee and inter-track wagering location licensee must allow a patron to deposit moneys into his or her bank account.

Section 10. The Riverboat Gambling Act is amended by adding Section 13.2 as follows:

Sec. 13.2. Automated teller machines. Each automated teller machine, as defined in the Automated Teller Machine Security Act, located on a riverboat or the home dock of the riverboat operated by an owners licensee must allow a patron to deposit moneys into his or her bank account.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
