SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

215 ILCS 5/143.13a new

Amends the Illinois Insurance Code. Provides that any company issuing a policy of automobile insurance must print the amount of the insured's deductible on the insurer-provided insurance card.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning insurance.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by adding Section 143.13a as follows:

(215 ILCS 5/143.13a new)

Sec. 143.13a. Deductible on insurance card. Any company issuing a policy of automobile insurance must print the amount of the insured's deductible on the insurer-provided insurance card.
