HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to honor Earl Brown, Director of the Alton Housing Authority, on his retirement; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Brown announced that he would retire on March 28, 2008 after serving for 20 years with the Authority; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Brown began working for the Authority in 1989 and became interim director in June of 2002; he was named director in July of 2002; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Earl Brown on his retirement, thank him for his years of service to the people of Alton and the surrounding area, and wish him the best in his future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Earl Brown as a symbol of our respect.
