HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Jim McManus, custodian at Emerson School in Elmhurst, on his retirement; and

WHEREAS, Jim McManus was born August 25, 1945; he and wife, Barbara, have been married for almost 39 years; they have one son, Patrick, and three grandchildren, Colin, Brendon, and Megan, and another on the way; and

WHEREAS, Jim has worked in District 205 and the Emerson School for 22 years; and

WHEREAS, He has worked under six principals and has always maintained a good relationship with the children and parents at Emerson; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Jim McManus on his retirement and wish him the best in his future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Jim McManus as a symbol of our respect.
