1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to congratulate Michael Hughes,
4 Director of Coles and Cumberland Court Services, on his
5 retirement, June 30, 2008; and

6     WHEREAS, Michael Hughes is the loving husband of Patricia
7 and the loving father of Danielle and Michael; and

8     WHEREAS, He was hired on January 15, 1975 and has grown
9 Court Services into a place offering professional and quality
10 services to all involved in the court system; and

11     WHEREAS, He has dedicated thirty-three years of service in
12 this position and can now enjoy playing golf and relaxing;
13 therefore, be it

14     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
15 NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
16 congratulate Michael Hughes and wish him the best in his future
17 endeavors; and be it further

18     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
19 presented to Michael Hughes as a symbol of our respect.
