HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate the administration, staff, and residents of the Glenview Senior Center on the occasion of the center's 50th anniversary; and

WHEREAS, The Glenview Senior Center began operating in 1958; the center's motto is "Wisdom, knowledge and courage are learned from experience; and

WHEREAS, The Glenview Senior Center will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the center and the center's Director, Joyce Pottinger, at the Lakeview Banquet Room in Glenview from 4 to 7 PM on September 12, 2008; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the administration, staff, and residents of the Glenview Senior Center on the occasion of the center's 50th anniversary and wish them continued success in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Glenview Senior Center Director Joyce Pottinger as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
