1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to congratulate Zion Fire Rescue
4 Department IPM Rob Kight on his retirement, May 5, 2008; and

5     WHEREAS, He joined the Zion Fire Rescue Department in 1996
6 and created a tactical EMS unit that operated with the Zion
7 Police Department SWAT team; and

8     WHEREAS, He was also very active in CPR instruction, and in
9 teaching for the EMT-Basic Program at Vista West in Waukegan;
10 and

11     WHEREAS, He also worked in public education, the juvenile
12 firesetters program, and managed the CPR program for several
13 years; and

14     WHEREAS, Rob Kight is married to Sally; they have five
15 children, Alexis, Naomi, Lilyan, Michael, and Jay; therefore,
16 be it

17     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
18 NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
19 congratulate IPM Rob Kight on his retirement and wish him the
20 best in his future endeavors; and be it further

1     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
2 presented to Rob Kight as a symbol of our respect.
