HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Rose Marie Wilson on her retirement from the Social Security Administration; and

WHEREAS, She began working as a Benefit Claims Representative on June 5, 1966; and

WHEREAS, She has worked at the main office in downtown Chicago, the Evergreen Park office, and will retire from the Social Security Administration office at 63rd Street and Cottage Grove; and

WHEREAS, Her duties have included reviewing complex and difficult claims involving reconsideration of previous denials or cessations, approving appropriate disability claims for payment and continuance of benefits, and making determinations on current entitlement to disability benefits; and

WHEREAS, In addition she has interviewed beneficiaries and the general public to determine the nature of any help they may need from the office, explained technical information, gathered facts, and resolved problems relating to Social Security programs; and

WHEREAS, Rose Marie Wilson is the proud mother of Karen and LaMonte (wife, Marie) and the loving grandmother of Alvin Jr., Zhane, Sharon, and Marcellus; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we again congratulate Rose Marie Wilson on her retirement and wish her all the best in her future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Rose Marie Wilson as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
