1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to honor people in the State of
4 Illinois who make a difference in the lives of others; and

5     WHEREAS, Calvin E. Woodworth is one such individual; and

6     WHEREAS, Calvin Woodworth is the devoted husband of Joyce;
7 the loving father of Brent and Callie; and the proud
8 grandfather of many grandchildren; and

9     WHEREAS, In June of 1977 Calvin Woodworth began serving as
10 the Pesotum Fire Protection District Fire Chief; he joined the
11 Fire Department in May of 1969; and

12     WHEREAS, In addition to his duties as Fire Chief, he has
13 also served as the Village of Pesotum Maintenance and Water
14 Supervisor since 1989; and

15     WHEREAS, Calvin E. Woodworth is to be honored for his
16 service to others; he is a valued member of the Village of
17 Pesotum, risking his life for his neighbors and friends;
18 therefore, be it

19     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE

1 NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
2 thank Calvin E. Woodworth for his years of service and commend
3 him for his hard work and dedication to serving others; and be
4 it further

5     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6 presented to Calvin Woodworth as a symbol of our respect and
7 admiration.
