1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to congratulate Joe Montino on the
4 occasion of his 85th birthday on January 12, 2008; and

5     WHEREAS, Joe Montino is a life-long resident of Melrose
6 Park; and

7     WHEREAS, Joe Montino is a proud veteran of World War II;
8 and

9     WHEREAS, Joe Montino is a devoted member of the Our Lady of
10 Mount Carmel Holy Name Society and is the society's oldest
11 member to continue carrying the Statue during the Feast of Our
12 Lady of Mount Carmel; and

13     WHEREAS, Joe Montino was an outstanding and compassionate
14 husband to the late Angelina; he is a wonderful father to his
15 three daughters, Francine, Benita (Tony) Contursi, and Joann
16 (Jerry) Mraz; therefore, be it

17     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
18 NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
19 congratulate Joe Montino on the occasion of his 85th birthday
20 and wish him many happy and healthy years to come; and be it

2     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
3 presented to Joe Montino as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
