HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to honor Caleb Pratt of Westville, the all-time leader in rushing yards, touchdowns, and 100-yard rushing games in the State of Illinois; and

WHEREAS, When Caleb Pratt entered Westville High School as a freshman in 2004, no one could have known all that he would accomplish in his four-year career; and

WHEREAS, He will leave Westville High the all-time leader in rushing yards, touchdowns, and 100-yard rushing games; his 8,496 rushing yards and 121 rushing touchdowns rank 18th and 6th in the United States; and

WHEREAS, In his career, he has played in 51 IHSA games and the Westville Tigers have won as a team 43 times, including three double digit win seasons, two perfect regular seasons, and two State title games; and

WHEREAS, At this point in his football career, young Caleb Pratt is undecided about which college to attend, even though he has been in contact with the University of Colorado and other schools across the country; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Caleb Pratt on his many accomplishments in football and wish him the best in all his future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Caleb Pratt as a symbol of our sincere respect and esteem.
