SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Diana Wiesemann of Worden, who passed away on March 31, 2008; and

WHEREAS, Diana Wiesemann was born on February 14, 1952 in Highland; she was the daughter of Raymond and Geraldine (Shaffer) Determan; she married Kenneth L. Wiesemann on September 4, 1976 in Worden; and

WHEREAS, Diana Wiesemann worked for over 30 years as a secretary for Madison Service Company; she also served as a membership secretary for the Madison County Farm Bureau in Edwardsville for more than 4 years; and

WHEREAS, Diana Wiesemann was a member at Trinity Lutheran Church of Worden, the Madison County Farm Bureau, and she was an active volunteer working with the Worden Fire Department; and

WHEREAS, Diana Wiesemann enjoyed camping and her pet dalmatian, Hollie; and

WHEREAS, Diana Wiesemann was preceded in death by her father; and

WHEREAS, Diana Wiesemann is survived by her mother; her husband; her son, Kent Lee Wiesemann; her mother-in-law, LaVerne Wiesemann; her brother, Larry D. and wife Liz Determan; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dan and wife Karen Wiesemann, Shirley and husband Stan Hollaway, and Linda and husband Darrell Painter; and her several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Diana Wiesemann; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Diana Wiesemann as an expression of our sympathy.
