SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Larry Rolland Frensko of Benld, who passed away on November 24, 2008; and

WHEREAS, He was born on June 19, 1937, the son of Peter and Ellen Cole Frensko; he married Patricia "Patty" Brown on August 15, 1959 in Bunker Hill; and

WHEREAS, He was a retired foreman for Monterey Coal Company; he was a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge #217 of Benld, OWLS, the United Mine Workers of America, and the Benld Sportsmen's League; and

WHEREAS, He was a past alderman for the city of Benld; he pitched in local kitten ball tournaments; he played bocci ball at Paul's Place (now Koniak's); he was an avid hunter and fisherman; and he enjoying attending his grandchildren's sporting events; and

WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents; and

WHEREAS, Larry Frensko is survived by his wife, Patty; his sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Gina and Kent and Kerri; his daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Mike Otto; and his grandchildren, Breanna, Kylie, Kaily, Dylan and Cole "C.J."; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Larry Frensko; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Larry Frensko as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
