35 ILCS 171/4

    Amends the Simplified Sales Tax and Use Tax Administration Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning multistate negotiations.

1    AN ACT concerning revenue.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The Simplified Sales and Use Tax Administration
5Act is amended by changing Section 4 as follows:
 
6    (35 ILCS 171/4)
7    Sec. 4. Authority to participate in multistate
8negotiations. For the the purposes of reviewing or amending or
9both reviewing and amending the Agreement embodying the
10simplification requirements as contained in Section 7 of this
11Act, the State shall enter into multistate discussions. For
12purposes of such discussions, the State shall be represented
13by 4 delegates. One delegate shall be appointed by the
14President of the Senate, one by the Minority Leader of the
15Senate, one by the Speaker of the House of Representatives,
16and one by the Minority Leader of the House of
17Representatives.
