SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

Amends the Illinois Act on the Aging and the Home Health, Home Services, and Home Nursing Agency Licensing Act. Provides that any person providing home services, home health services, or home nursing services who is not a member of the patient or consumer's family or providing services under the Community Care Program shall prominently display a photo identification badge containing the name of the person providing the services, the name of the organization the person represents, the occupation of the person, and a recent photograph of the person.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning regulation.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Act on the Aging is amended by adding Section 4.02j as follows:

(20 ILCS 105/4.02j new)

Sec. 4.02j. Photo identification required. Any person providing services under the Community Care Program shall prominently display a photo identification badge containing the name of the person providing the services, the name of the organization the person represents, the occupation of the person, and a recent photograph of the person.

Section 10. The Home Health, Home Services, and Home Nursing Agency Licensing Act is amended by adding Section 6.1 as follows:
