SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

215 ILCS 5/143.13b new

Amends the Illinois Insurance Code. Provides that any company issuing a policy of automobile insurance must print the amount of the insured's deductible on the insurer-provided insurance card.

AN ACT concerning insurance.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by adding Section 143.13b as follows:

Sec. 143.13b. Deductible on insurance card. Any company issuing a policy of automobile insurance must print the amount of the insured's deductible on the insurer-provided insurance card.
