1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to congratulate Lori Lelis on the
4 occasion of becoming the first woman to hold the position of
5 Superintendent of Police for the Town of Cicero; and

6     WHEREAS, Lori Lelis has been a resident of the Town of
7 Cicero for 41 years; and

8     WHEREAS, Lori Lelis serves as a model of hard work,
9 integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of
10 Illinois; therefore, be it

11     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
12 NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
13 congratulate Lori Lelis on the occasion of becoming the first
14 woman to hold the position of Superintendent of Police for the
15 Town of Cicero and thank her for her dedication to law
16 enforcement and keeping families safe in her community; and be
17 it further

18     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
19 presented to Lori Lelis as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
