HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Benjamin Knull of Boy Scout Troop 73 of Grayslake on the occasion of attaining the coveted rank of Eagle Scout; and

WHEREAS, A Court of Honor Ceremony will be held on February 7, 2010 in his honor; and

WHEREAS, His service project was to plan, coordinate, and lead the clean-up of Big Hollow School's Nature Center in Ingleside; the area was once neglected and is now revived and a useful asset to the community; and

WHEREAS, Benjamin has been involved in scouting since the age of 7; he earned the Arrow of Light as a Cub Scout, the highest award for that age; and

WHEREAS, Benjamin has been a patrol quartermaster, assistant patrol leader, patrol leader, and den chief; he is a member of the Order of the Arrow; and is also active at his school and church; and

WHEREAS, Benjamin Knull serves as a model of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Benjamin Knull and wish him the best in his future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Benjamin Knull as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
